Since the beginning of January, monitoring and control of Bonelli’s eagle and Lanner falcon sites is ongoing. Many sites are occupied, and in some, the brooding has already started. As in past years in these same weeks camps’ starting procedures are already under way.
The shifts have been prepared by the field managers and all camera traps are active along with some webcams. It must however be underlined that this year the synergy between the GTR and the LIFE CONRASI is bringing to much higher results than those obtained in past years, especially in the amount of controls and the number of camera traps used (thanks to donations from different associations). As evidence of this, new sites and a new pair made up by 3rd and 4th calendar year individuals have been discovered.
Everyone’s contribution is always important both for the funding activities, that in terms of volunteers who can help and support those in charge of the various camps.
